IT was drinks all round (in the form of coffee) for the the owners of the Bob and Berts franchise who finally received planning permission for a new store in Omagh last week, which could ultimately create up to 30 new jobs.

It had been a frustrating process for the coffee shop chain who originally submitted their planning application in September last year.

Managing director, Colin McClean, subsequently claimed that Fermanagh and Omagh District Council told him that planning permission for premises on Omagh’s High Street would be refused in preference of a retail store.
